This one is over, and the winner is Travis Johnson, who took home $633,853 and the bracelet!
Event 8 - $2,500 No-Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball: 147 Entries
Phil Ivey took this one down, worth $96,361, and Phil's 6th WSOP bracelet!
Event 9 - $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em 6 Handed: 1459 Entries
Play was halted early this morning with 8 players still in the hunt. Play will resume today at 1PM with those remaining:

Day one ended with 128 still in the chase. Daniel Negreanu is the chip leader, but some notables still in the hunt are: Vanessa Rousso, Jimmy Fricke, Dario Minieri and David Singer.
