WSOP 2008 Day 42 Updates

Event #54, the $10,000 World Championship No Limit Texas Holdem Day three played down to 474 players, with the Million Chip mark being broken by Jeremiah Smith. Many notable pros survived, including: Phil Hellmuth, Mike Matusow, Johnny Chan, Gus Hansen, Hoyt Corkins, and Allen Cunningham.

Day 4 was played fast and furious, ending earlier than expected due to the number of players dropping, with 189 still in the field! They are at level 19, with blinds at 5,000/10,000 and a 1,000 ante. The chip leader is Jeremy Joseph, with 3,100,000 in chips.

Gus Hansen, Mike Matusow, Hoyt Corkins, and Phil Hellmuth are still hanging on, with Hansen being in the best chip position with 1,400,000!

Play will resume today at Noon..... they will play down to the final 27 tomorrow, and determine the final table of 9 on Monday!
