June 29, 2008WSOP 2008 Day 31 UpdatesEvent #45, the $50,000 World Championship H.O.R.S.E event is down to the final 8, and it is JAM PACKED, as you would expect. The players going into today's final are: Event #46, a $5000 No Limit Texas Holdem Six Handed event was won by Joe Commisso, who took home $911,855 ant the bracelet. Taking down second place was Richard Lyndaker, worth $570,551. Event #47, a $1500 Seven Card Stud High-Low event was won by Ryan Hughes, who took home his SECOND Stud 8/b bracelt and $183,368. Second went to Ron Long, worth $113,240. Hughes becomes the ONLY player to win TWO stud 8/b bracelets!! Event #48, a $2000 No Limit Texas Holdem event is down to the final table, with play set to resume today at 3PM. The finalists are: Event #49, a $1500 No Limit Texas Holdem event began play with 2718 entries, and played down to 215, which is the money bubble. Play is set to resume today to get to the final table. Todays starting events are: Event #50, the $10,000 World Championship Pot Limit Omaha event, which gets underway at Noon. Event #51, a $1500 H.O.R.S.E. event which begins play at 5PM.
