WSOP 2008 Day 26 Updates

Event #38, a $2000 Pot Limit Texas Holdem event was won by Davidi Kitai, who took home $244,546 and teh bracelet. Second place went to Chris Bell, worth $155,806.

Event #39, a $1500 No Limit Texas Holdem event was won by David Woo who took home $631,656 and the bracelet. Matthew Wood took second place worth $389,844.

Event 40, a $2500 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Low Ball event began play with 238 and is down to the final table of 6, with play scheduled to resume today at 2PM. Three of the six are highly recognizable names! The final table is:
John Phan: 294,000
Gioi Luong: 291,000
Robert Mizrachi: 215,000
Shunjiro Uchida: 200,000
Ben Ponzio: 113,000
David Sklansky: 78,000

Event #41, a $1500 Mixed Texas Holdem event began play Sunday with 731 entries, and they are down to the final nine. The players and their chips are:

Event #42, the $1000 Seniors No Limit Texas Holdem World Championship began play with 2218 entries, and they are down to 220. They will play down to the final table, when play resumes today.

Event #43, a $1500 Pot Limit Omaha High-Low Split 8 or better event gets underway at Noon today.
