WSOP 2008 Day 21 Updates

Event #31, a $2500 No Limit Texas Holdem Six Handed event was won by Dario Minieri, who took home his first bracelet and $528,418. Second place went to Seth Fischer, worth $330,519.

Event #32, a $1500 No Limit Texas Holdem event is down to the final table. Play will commence today to determine the winner. Finalist's are:

Jospeh Georges - 1,202,000
Utsab Saha - 964,000
Jae Chung - 720,000
Anthony Signore - 701,000
Shane Stacey - 653,000
Osmin Dardon - 487,000
Dean Bui - 217,000
Justin Huffman - 150,000

Event #33, the $5000 World Championship Seven Card Stud High-Low Split 8 or better event is still playing ( as of this reporting ) to determine the final 8. Players voted to play down to 8, instead of ending play for the night. Several heavyweights are still in the hunt, with these players still vieing for the title: Annie Duke, Marcel Luske, Chris Ferguson, Howard Lederer, and Allen Cunningham. Barry Greenstein went out 14th.

Event #34, a $1500 Pot Limit Omaha with Rebuys event ended play with 49 of the starting 320 still in the hunt. Among those still contending are: Layne Flack, and Ted Forrest. Play resumes today at 2PM.

Event #35, a $1500 Seven Card Stud event began play with 381, and there were 74 left when play ended for the day. Play will resume today at 3PM.

Todays new events are:

Event #36, a $1500 No Limit Texas Holdem event.

Event #37, the $10,000 World Championship Omaha High-Low Split 8 or Better event.
