About Getting Sucked out on....

I honestly think that I am the unluckiest poker player alive! If there is a card in the deck that my opponent can hit to suck out on me, they will..... ON THE RIVER! That is a sad thing, and happens much too often when playing online.

So I sat back and thought about the situation about being sucked out on so often. The thing is ..... I VERY RARELY go in to a situation where I am NOT the best hand going in. There are ONLY two possible outcomes ( we are not going into the small percentage of ties ):

1) The best hand can hold up
2) The best hand will be sucked out on

So it would stand to reason, where you do not win, which even though you want to, will NOT happen 100% of the time, you WILL be sucked out on mor often than not.

As frustrating as that is, it is an intregal part of poker! It WILL HAPPEN, and in online poker, it will happen MUCH MORE OFTEN than playing live. WHY do I say that? Simply because of the volume of hands that are dealt each minute online. If you play online poker at a poker room with any type of volume: Party, Stars, Tilt, Absolute, ect... the sheer volume of hands per hour dictates that there will be what SEEMS to be abnormal suckouts.....

In the great game of poker, you can ONLY do one thing: Play the best hand and let the chips fall as they may.....
