2006 WPT Championship Day 2

Well, the play in the WPT Championship No Limit Texas Holdem Poker event heated up on the official day 2, and over 200 players were eliminated so it's down to just over 200 going into day three! Some of the notables eliminated were: Jeff Shulman, Phil Ivey, Nick “The Takeover” Schulman, Darrell “Gigabet” Dicken and John Gale. The likes of Alan Goehring, Daniel Negreanu, Amnon Filippi, Kenna James, Huck Seed, Mike Matusow, Alex Jacob, James Worth and Hoyt Corkins were all sent to the rail throughout the day.

There are a lot of name players in the thick of things, and today's play should be interesting to say the least. Here is a look at the top 25 in chips:
